This photograph was taken on the launch night in London.
"Creation Myths" (6x1.5 metres) was exhibited at Allen & Overy, One Bishops Square, London during the month of November 2009.
The piece is currently rented to UEA London, Middlesex Street - (since Oct 2010)
Ian Chance, Course Director wrote:
".... what engages us with this work and sustains our attention to the point of meditation are the large scale .... subtle variations in the eloquent articulation of spatial mass, form, volume and surface which change with our physical orientation to the work and the critical nature of available light. It is the ability of these elements to renew their relationships that releases our imagination, invites dialogue and heightens our experience of the painting."
This is part of the preparatory stage of the creation of the work in my studio.
